MANILA, Philippines – Light to moderate rain and thunderstorms are expected in parts of the country on Monday, October 31.

In its bulletin issued 5 pm on Sunday, October 30, state weather bureau PAGASA said the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) is affecting Palawan, the Visayas, and Mindanao.

Those areas, plus the Bicol Region, will have light to moderate rain and thunderstorms.

Light rain is also expected in Cagayan, Isabela, and Ilocos Norte.

Meanwhile, the rest of Luzon, including Metro Manila, will have just isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

PAGASA also said coastal waters in Luzon will be moderate to rough, with moderate to strong winds. – Rappler.com
