MANILA, Philippines – Tropical Depression Marce made landfall in Surigao del Norte late Thursday afternoon, November 24.

In its bulletin issued 5 pm on Thursday, state weather bureau PAGASA said Marce maintained its strength as it hit land, with maximum winds of up to 45 kilometers per hour (km/h) and gustiness of up to 55 km/h.

It is moving northwest at 19 km/h.
