MANILA, Philippines – A thunderstorm affected various parts of Luzon, including Metro Manila, and may persist in the next 1 to 2 hours. 

In a Thunderstorm Advisory released on Saturday, April 27, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical & Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the thunderstorm is affecting:

  • Los Banos
  • Canlubang
  • Mallanes
  • Northern Fairview
  • Commonweath portion of Quezon City
  • Novaliches
  • Angat

Pagasa also advised that a thunderstorm over Manila, Dasmarinas, Muntinlupa, San Rafael, Bustos, Plaridel and Baliuag, Bulacan is also expected within an hour.

“All are advised to take precautionary measures against heavy rains, strong gusty winds, lightning and possible flash floods,” Pagasa said. 

In its 5am weather bulletin, Pagasa said the tail-end of a cold front affecting Northern Luzon and the Easterlies affecting the rest of the country are expected to bring cloudy skies and light to moderate rains and thunderstorms on Saturday. – Rappler.com
