Rainy Tuesday across PH as Labuyo leaves

MANILA, Philippines — Rainy weather will prevail over many parts of the country Tuesday, August 13, as typhoon Labuyo continues to move away from the country and enhance the southwest monsoon.

Typhoon Labuyo, spotted 200 km west of Sinait, Ilocos Sur as of 4 pm Monday, August 12, will continue to move away from the country, and is expected to move out of the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

As Labuyo moves away, stormy weather could still be expected in Ilocos Sur, Mountain Province, La Union, Benguet, Ifugao, Nueva Vizcaya, and Pangasinan.

Seas in these areas will be rough, state weather bureau PAGASA said in its 24-hour forecast.

Rain with gusty winds can be expected in Ilocos Norte, Abra, Kalinga, Apayao, Aurora, Quirino, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, Bataan, Zambales, and Pampanga, accompanied by moderate to rough seas.

The rest of the country will have cloudy skies accompanied by light to moderate rain and thunderstorms.
