Cloudy, rainy in parts of west PH Wednesday

MANILA, Philippines — Parts of the country’s western seaboard will have cloudy skies Wednesday, August 14, state weather bureau PAGASA said.

The regions of Ilocos, Western Visayas and Zamboanga Peninsula, and the provinces of Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, the Mindoros, and Palawan will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rain.

The southwest monsoon is also affecting Luzon’s western sections, the bureau said in its 24-hour forecast.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies, accompanied by isolated rain.

There is no tropical cyclone within the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), the bureau added.
