MANILA, Philippines – Large parts of the country will experience cloudy skies and rain Thursday, September 5, the state weather bureau said Wednesday, September 4.

PAGASA said an intertropical convergence zone is affecting Mindanao, Visayas, and Central & Southern Luzon.

With this, cloudy skies with light to moderate rain is in the forecast for Metro Manila, Central Luzon, Southern Luzon, Bicol, and the entire Visayas and Mindanao for Thursday.

The rest of Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies accompanied by isolated rain.

No tropical cyclone is within the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), the bureau added.
