ITCZ brings clouds, rain to south Luzon, Visayas Friday

MANILA, Philippines – An intertropical convergence zone is affecting weather in southern Luzon and the Visayas, state weather bureau PAGASA said Thursday, September 5.

The weather system will bring cloudy skies with light to moderate rain on Friday, September 6, in the Visayas, Metro Manila, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, and Bicol, the bureau said in its 24-hour forecast.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies, accompanied by isolated rain later in the day.

There are no tropical cyclones within the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), the bureau addded.
