MANILA, Philippines – Monday, November 4 will be rainy in parts of Mindanao and Visayas, as a low pressure area affects the region.

As of 4 pm Sunday, November 5, the low pressure area was located 430 km east of Mindanao, and is embedded along the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) affecting the island.

Eastern parts of Luzon, meanwhile, will be affected by the easterly winds, state weather bureau PAGASA said in its 24-hour forecast Sunday afternoon.

With the LPA and ITCZ, Mindanao and Central and Eastern Visayas will have cloudy skies accompanied by light to moderate rain.

The rest of the archipelago will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies accompanied by isolated rain.

Prevailing winds across the archipelago will be coming from the east to northeast.

There are no tropical cyclones within the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), the bureau said.
