‘Amihan’ over north, central Luzon Monday; Cloudy across PH

MANILA, Philippines – Cloudy skies are in the forecast across the country on Monday, November 11, with the cold northeast monsoon, or ‘amihan,’ blowing across the northern parts of the country.

The monsoon will particularly affect northern and central parts of Luzon, state weather bureau PAGASA said in its 24-hour forecast.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies will be felt across the country, with light rains in Luzon and isolated rains or thunderstorms in the Visayas and Mindanao.

Prevailing winds will coming from the northeast to east in Luzon, and from the northeast in the rest of the country.

There is no tropical cyclone within the Philippine Area of Responsibility, the bureau said.
