Rainy Tuesday in north, east Mindanao

MANILA, Philippines – It will be a rainy Tuesday, November 12, in parts of eastern and northern Mindanao, as Tropical Depression Zoraida moves closer to the area.

As of 4 pm Monday, November 11, Zoraida was located 634 km southeast of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur, carrying maximum sustained winds of 55 km/h.

It is currently moving west northwest at 30 km/h.

With Zoraida closely approaching the area, the regions of Southern Mindanao, Caraga, and Northern Mindanao are expected to experience rains with gusty winds, accompanied by moderate to rough seas.

Palawan, Visayas and the rest of Mindanao will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms, state weather bureau PAGASA said in its 24-hour forecast.

Luzon, on the other hand, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with light rains.
