MANILA, Philippines – State weather service PAGASA notes in its 11:00 pm update that Tropical Depression Zoraida is heading closer to the Surigao-Davao area while maintaing its strength.
The latest report shows that Tropical Depression Zoraida is approximately 470 km southeast of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur. The estimated rainfall amount of the tropical depression is around 5 to 15 mm per hour within its 300 km diameter.
It is forcast to move northwest at 30 km/h with maximum sustained winds of 55 km/h near its center, and is expected to be approximately 62 km southeast of Tagbilaran City by Tuesday evening.
