MANILA, Philippines – Mindanao can expect some rains and thunderstorms on Saturday, January 25.

State weather bureau PAGASA says in their 5 am bulletin that partly cloudy to cloudy skies bring isolated rains or thunderstorms. Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will only need to worry about isolated light rains.

The northeast monsoon will blow winds from the northeast towards all regions, making coastal waters all over the country moderate to rough.

The country will continue to enjoy cool temperatures. For Metro Manila, PAGASA predicts temperatures from19 to 28 degrees Celsius. Baguio City is likely to experience temperatures ranging from 9 to 19 degrees Celsius. 

Here’s what the temperature will be like in other parts of the country:

  • Tuguegarao City – 17 to 25 degrees C
  • Laoag City – 16 to 28 degrees C
  • SMBA (Olongapo)/Clark Zone (Angeles City) – 19 to 28 degrees C
  • Tagaytay City – 18 to 27 degrees C
  • Legazpi City – 21 to 29 degrees C
  • Puerto Princesa – 23 to 29 degrees C
  • Iloilo City/Bacolod City – 23 to 28 degrees C
  • Metro Cebu – 23 to 28 degrees C
  • Tacloban City – 23 to 28 degrees C
  • Cagayan de Oro City – 24 to 28 degrees C
  • Metro Davao – 24 to 30 degrees C
  • Zamboanga City – 23 to 30 degrees C
