Rainy Saturday for parts of Visayas, Mindanao

MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED) – Tropical depression Caloy will bring rains with gusty winds to some parts of Visayas and Mindanao on Saturday, March 22, state weather bureau PAGASA said.

In its 24-hour forecast on Saturday morning, PAGASA said Central Visayas, Caraga, and the provinces of Southern Leyte, Negros Occidental, Guimaras, Iloilo, Antique, Bukidnon, Misamis Oriental, and Camiguin can expect rains with gusty winds with moderate to rough seas. The rest of Visayas and Mindanao will be cloudy with light to moderate rainshowers and isolated thunderstorms, while Cagayan Valley and the province of Aurora will be cloudy with light rains.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon can expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains or thunderstorms.  

Coastal seas throughout the archipelago will be moderate to rough as moderate to strong winds blow from the northeast over Luzon, and from the northeast to northwest over the rest of the country.
