MANILA, Philippines – The entire Philippines can expect partly cloudy skies with isolated rain showers of thunderstorms on Sunday, May 18, state weather bureau PAGASA said in its 24-hour public weather forecast.

PAGASA said the rain showers and thunderstorms are likely to happen in the afternoon or evening.

A ridge of high pressure area continues to extend over Luzon.

Luzon will experience light to moderate winds blowing from the east to southeast, while the rest of the country will experience winds coming from the east.

Coastal waters in the Philippines will be light to moderate.
