MANILA, Philippines – The entire country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies on Wednesday, May 21, said state weather bureau PAGASA.

These skies will likely bring isolated rains and thunderstorms to various parts of the country, they added in their May 20, 5 pm bulletin. But they will likely fall in the afternoon or evening.

Luzon can expect light to moderate winds blowing from the east to southeast. The rest of the country will experience winds of the same strength from the east. 

These winds will make coastal waters slight to moderate.

The Department of Energy (DOE) also expects May 21 to be one of the hottest days of the year. Temperatures in different parts of the country may soar past 37 degrees Celsius.
