Cloudy Thursday for Palawan, Mindanao

MANILA, Philippines – Palawan and Mindanao will have cloudy skies on Thursday, May 22, state weather bureau PAGASA said. 

In its 5 pm bulletin on Wednesday, May 21, PAGASA said these skies will be accompanied with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms.

An intertropical convergence zone is affecting southern Mindanao, while a ridge of high pressure area is extending over Luzon. 

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening. (READ: May 21 and 22 hottest days of 2014)

Coastal seas will be slight to moderate as light to moderate winds blow from the east to southeast over the whole country.
