Cloudy skies for Mindanao on Friday

MANILA, Philippines – Mindanao will have cloudy skies on Friday, May 30, state weather bureau PAGASA said. 

In its 5 pm bulletin on Thursday, May 29, PAGASA said these skies will be accompanied with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.

An intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) is affecting Mindanao, while a ridge of high pressure area is extending across Luzon. 

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to at times cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, mostly in the afternoon or evening. 

Coastal seas will be slight to moderate as light to moderate winds blow from the southeast to south over Luzon, and from the southeast over the rest of the country.
