Still cloudy for Mindanao on Saturday

MANILA, Philippines – Mindanao will still have cloudy skies on Saturday, May 31, state weather bureau PAGASA said. 

In its 5 pm bulletin on Friday, May 30, PAGASA said these skies will be accompanied with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.

An intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) is still affecting Mindanao, while a ridge of high pressure area is extending over the eastern section of Luzon. 

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to at times cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Coastal seas will be slight to moderate as light to moderate winds blow from south to southeast over Mindanao, and from the southeast over the rest of the country.
