Rainy Friday for Northern Luzon

MANILA, Philippines – The trough of a low pressure area is affecting Northern Luzon and is likely to bring rains on Friday, June 6.

According to state weather bureau PAGASA, Ilocos region and the islands of Babuyan, Calayan and Batanes will experience cloudy skies bringing light to moderate rains and thunderstorms.

In their June 5, 5 pm update, the agency added that Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have more cheerful weather. Skies will be partly cloudy to cloudy threatening only isolated rains and thunderstorms. 

Luzon will also experience light to moderate winds blowing from the south to southwest. Winds of the same strength will blow over Visayas and Mindanao coming from the south.

Thus, coastall waters all over the archipelago will be slight to moderate.
