Rainy Saturday in western Luzon, Visayas

MANILA, Philippines – The state weather bureau warned the western sections of Luzon and the Visayas of rain on Saturday, June 28, because of the southwest monsoon.

The following areas will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said in its latest weather bulletin: 

• Pangasinan;

• Zambales;

• Bataan;

• Batangas;

• Cavite;

• Occidental Mindoro;

• Palawan;

• Aklan; and

• Antique 

Metro Manila and the rest of the Philippines, on the other hand, will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

PAGASA added: “Moderate to strong winds coming from the southwest to south will prevail over Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough. Light to moderate winds blowing from the southwest will prevail over the rest of the country with slight to moderate seas.” – Rappler.com
