MANILA, Philippines –State weather service PAGASA notes that a monsoon trough is affecting Palawan and Mindanao.

PAGASA reports that Palawan, Eastern Visayas and Mindanao will have cloudy skies as well as light to moderate rains and thunderstorms today.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies, with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms expected in the day. 

Seafarers should take note of prevailing moderate to strong winds coming from the southwest to the south over Luzon, while light to moderate winds blowing from the southwest will prevail over the rest of the country. As a result, Luzon’s coastal waters will be moderate to rough, while the rest of the country will have slight to moderate seas. – Rappler.com
