MANILA, Philippines – Those in Visayas and Mindanao on Tuesday, July 1, should be ready with their umbrellas.

State weather bureau PAGASA predicts rainy weather brought by cloudy skies. People in these regions can expect light to moderate rains and thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon should also be ready for a little rain. Partly cloudy skies will threaten isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

But Luzon will be a bit windier than the rest of the country. Moderate to strong winds from the south to southwest are expected to prevail. Thus coastal waters are likely to be moderate to rough.

Visayas and Mindanao will have light to moderate winds from the southwest leading to calmer seas.
