LPA hovers west of Zambales; cloudy Sunday for Palawan

MANILA, Philippines – State weather bureau PAGASA said that as of 4 pm Saturday, August 30, the low pressure area (LPA) was located 360 km west of Iba, Zambales.

Also, on Sunday, Palawan will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms, according to PAGASA’s afternoon weather bulletin on Saturday.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening.

Light to moderate winds will blow from the southwest to southeast over Luzon and Visayas, and from the southwest to west over Mindanao. Coastal waters will be slight to moderate throughout the country.
