Rainy Tuesday for VisMin, parts of Luzon

MANILA, Philippines – Bicol, Mimaropa and Calabarzon in Luzon and the entire regions of Visayas and Mindanao can expect light to moderate rainshowers on Tuesday, September 9.

In their September 8, 5 pm bulletin, state weather bureau PAGASA said this is due to a Monsoon Trough affecting Southern Luzon.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country, however, can expect only isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms brought about by partly cloudy to cloudy skies. The rains will most likely fall in the afternoon or evening, PAGASA added.

Moderate to strong winds will prevail in the western section of Luzon and Visayas. Thus, coastal waters here will be moderate to rough. In other parts of the archipelago, winds will be light to moderate leading to calm or moderate seas.
