MANILA, Philippines – Cold winds will continue to blow over the Philippines on Monday, January 12, accompanied by isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms.
In its 5 pm bulletin on Sunday, January 11, state weather bureau PAGASA said this is due to a northeast monsoon which continues to affect Luzon.
The seasonal wind will bring cloudy skies and light rains in Cagayan Valley and Cordillera.
Meanwhile, Visayas and Mindanao will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated showers or thunderstorms.
Monday’s monsoon will also cause moderate to strong sea currents, said PAGASA in its shipping advisory. – Rappler.com
