Cloudy Sunday for parts of Visayas, Mindanao

MANILA, Philippines – It will be cloudy in parts of Visayas and Mindanao on Sunday, January 25, according to state weather bureau PAGASA.

In its weather bulletin Saturday afternoon, PAGASA said that the tail-end of a cold front is affecting eastern Visayas, while the northeast monsoon continues to affect Luzon.

As a result, the regions of Central Visayas, Eastern Visayas, Northern Mindanao and Caraga will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms.

It will also be cloudy in the Ilocos, Cordillera, and Cagayan Valley regions, with light rains. The skies in the rest of Luzon, including Metro Manila, will be partly cloudy to at times cloudy with isolated light rains.

Meanwhile, the Western Visayas region and the rest of Mindanao will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds from the northeast will prevail over Luzon and Visayas, where coastal waters will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds from the northeast will be light to moderate while the seas will be slight to moderate.
