MANILA, Philippines – Rain will continue to fall on Monday, January 26, across the Philippines due to the northeast monsoon, state weather bueau PAGASA said.
Eastern and Central Visayas and CARAGA region will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms, said PAGASA in its advisory on Sunday, January 25.
On the other hand, cloudy skies with isolated light rains will harrow over Luzon island, including Metro Manila
The rest of Mindanao will experience cloudy skies with chances of isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, it said.
Monday’s forecast is based on PAGASA’s sighting of a tail-end of a cold front which will affect Eastern Visayas the most.
The mass of cold air was forecast to move slightly southward since Saturday, January 24, and will contnue to bring cloudy skies and rainshowers across the country until Monday.
Meanwhile, coastal waters along Luzon, Visayas, and Eastern Mindanao is also expected to be affected by strong winds. – Rappler.com
