Rainy Tuesday for parts of Luzon, VisMin

MANILA, Philippine – Parts of Luzon are in for light rains on Tuesday, February 3, according to state weather bureau PAGASA.

In its Monday evening bulletin, it said affected areas are the regions of Cagayan Valley, Cordillera and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon.

Meanwhile, the trough of a low pressure area (LPA) may bring light to moderate rains in Eastern Visayas, Central Visayas, Caraga and Northern Mindanao. There is also a possibility of isolated thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will only need to prepare for isolated light rains. The rest of Visayas and Mindanao will experience isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Due to the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan), moderate to strong winds will prevail over the whole country. Thus, ocean waters will be moderate to rough.
