Cloudy skies for Bicol, Quezon on Friday

MANILA, Philippines – The Bicol region and the province of Quezon will have cloudy skies on Friday, February 20, according to state weather bureau PAGASA.

In its 5 pm bulletin Thursday, February 19, PAGASA said these skies will bring light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms over the two areas in the next 24 hours. 

Cagayan Valley and Aurora will also have cloudy skies but with light rains. 

The tail-end of a cold front is affecting the eastern section of Southern Luzon, while a northeast monsoon is affecting Northern Luzon and Central Luzon. 

Partly cloudy skies will bring isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country, and isolated light rains over Cordillera, Ilocos, and the rest of Central Luzon. 

Moderate to strong winds will blow from the northeast over Luzon, causing moderate to rough seas. Elsewhere, coastal waters will be slight to moderate as light to moderate winds blow from the northeast.
