Occasional rains over parts of Luzon on Monday

MANILA, Philippines – Several areas of Luzon will experience occasional rains on Monday, July 20, the state weather bureau PAGASA said.

The regions of Ilocos and Cordillera, as well as the provinces of Zambales, Bataan, and the islands of Batanes, Calayan and Babuyan will have occasional rains, according to the 5 pm bulletin issued by the weather agency on Sunday, July 19.

With the southwest monsoon affecting Luzon, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds blowing from the southwest will prevail over Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the south to southwest with slight to moderate seas.
