Dear Rappler reader,
Although Christmas is just around the corner, let’s stop and pause with preparations for gift giving and parties and remember that it’s Human Rights Day all over the world. The priests in Baclaran Church, for one, make the eloquent plea that Jesus was an EJK victim, too.
This week saw two important news concerning the police and military. The first one was President Rodrigo Duterte’s announcement of the replacement of PNP Chief Ronald Dela Rosa. The second one is AFP Chief General Rey Guerrero giving us a piece of his mind on revolutionary government.
Other noteworthy videos of the week: history teacher Leloy Claudio explains tags hurled at President Duterte like dictator, fascist or populist and which of these actually has basis. The other one is Duterte telling government officials not to be a Judas like Senator Sonny Trillanes.
Lastly we bring you two endearing videos: first one is the team that ran away with this year’s UAAP season 80 cheerdance trophy and the second one is a montage of President Duterte and Vice President Leni Robredo’s adorable moments with kids.
Enjoy.
