During his 5-day visit, the Argentine pontiff is set to hold public masses in Tacloban City on January 17 and at the Rizal Park in Manila on January 18.
His other events – the mass with priests, bishops, and religious individuals at the Manila Cathedral, and the youth encounter at the University of Santo Tomas – are limited to pre-selected individuals. The public can watch the events through LED screens to be set up outside the venues.
