MANILA, Philippines – Among the first group of Filipinos who met Pope Francis on Day 1 of his visit to the Philippines are chidren. They cheered for him and they danced for him – and they also want to tell the Pope their prayers.
It’s only Day 1 of the pope’s 5-day visit. His message to Filipinos in succeeding days is most anticipated.
