Complete details

Website rizal-news-updates.blogspot.com is giving free housing for the poor, as long as they register through its website.

The website’s post dated May 15 says, “LIBRENG PABAHAY | MAGPALISTA NA!” (Free housing, register now!)

The accompanying photo also says, “Libreng bahay para sa mahirap! Libreng bahay para sa mga walang sariling bahay, at para sa mga sira ang bahay!” (Free houses for the poor! Free houses for those who do not have their own homes, and for those who have damaged houses!)

The post then says those who are interested should register through the website www.Pabahay-Libre.com.

The comments on the post show users sharing their personal information, such as names and phone numbers.

This promotional post is false.

The website rizal-news-updates.blogspot.com is not affiliated with the government or any legitimate institution. It does not provide other information about the supposed free housing nor give any details about the people behind the project.

The link www.Pabahay-Libre.com also just redirects to dubious advertisements, one of which followed a template used by a fake bitcoin trading program.

Rizal-news-updates.blogspot.com seems to be posing as the website of the Rizal province in Luzon. However, the official website of Rizal province is https://www.rizalprovince.ph. The provincial government can also be reached through its official Facebook and Twitter accounts.
