It is generally defined as information of value to the government, with the purpose of preventing security threats from occurring.

Intelligence, albeit questionably, has been invoked in the government’s campaign against illegal drugs, as well as its crackdown on militant communists.

But how does it work? What happens when it becomes politicized? How do we know if intelligence is credible?
