VILLAR LAUDS APPROVAL OF COCO LEVY BILL BY BICAM PANEL- Sen. Cynthia Villar, chairperson of the Committee on Agriculture and Food, said the approval by the bicameral conference committee of the reconciled version of the Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Act, "marks the end of the long and grueling journey of enacting a law which will make sure 3.5 million coconut farmers will greatly benefit from the P100-billion funds which are rightfully theirs."
