Duterte EO orders regular nationwide drug abuse survey

The survey is to be conducted every 3 years, according to an executive order that also institutionalizes the Philippine Anti-illegal Drugs Strategy

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency conducted random drug testing among bus driver and conductors at the Araneta Center Bus Terminal in Cubao, Quezon City on October 29, 2018, aimed at ensuring the safety of the riding public ahead of the rush for passengers heading out to the provinces this coming All Saints Day. Urine samples taken from transport staff will be brought to the PDEA laboratory for testing. If tested positive for drugs, the person shall be charged and recommended to be dismissed from the transport service.
