MANILA, Philippines – Filipino basketball prospect Kobe Paras will not suit up for Cathedral High School in Los Angeles in the upcoming season due to conflict between the academic calendars of the US and the Philippines, according to a report by the Los Angeles Times.
“Due to the difference in academic calendars between the United States and the Philippines, Kobe would exhaust his 8 semesters of eligibility at the end of the first semester this year,” Phantoms head coach William Middlebrooks explained in the report.
