
MANILA, Philippines – National team and PBA players made an appearance at Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte’s and Senator Alan Peter Cayetano’s concert dubbed “MAD for Change” Sunday night, November 29 in Taguig City. (WATCH: Duterte-Cayetano’s ‘MAD For Change’ event)
In a photo posted by former Ateneo Blue Eagle and current Manila District 4 congressional candidate Jobe Nkemakolam on Facebook, Gilas Pilipinas members Marc Pingris (Star Hotshots) and Sonny Thoss (Alaska) can be seen on stage.

Together with them are other PBA players Mac Baracael and Willy Wilson of Barako Bull, JayR Reyes of San Miguel Beer, and Cyrus Baguio of Alaska. (READ: 22 things to know about ‘Duterte Harry’)
Also in the photo is former two-time PBA MVP Willie Miller, who now plays for the Pilipinas MX3 Kings in the ASEAN Basketball League, as well as sports agent Charlie Dy.
The concert was held for supporters of the tandem.
Duterte, 70, filed his certificate of candidacy for president on Friday, November 27 as a substitute for Martin Diño, who was initially PDP-Laban’s presidential candidate but withdrew his candidacy. – Rappler.com
