MANILA, Philippines – Kobe Bryant made his return to Manila this weekend for the Mamba Mentality Tour, his first event in the Philippines with Nike following his retirement from a 20-year NBA career.
The 5-time NBA champion reached the country late on Friday evening, June 24, and in the early hours of Saturday morning, made a stop at the Barangay Ususan Covered Court in Taguig City.
Bryant’s stop was brief, but he spent a few moments talking to the excited crowd and handed Golden Nike Basketballs to 3 kids who also received tickets to his Mamba Mentality Night at Smart Araneta Coliseum. – Rappler.com
