WWE star Big Show to visit Manila
Big Show will take part in a fan meet-and-greet at MOA Music Hall on a one day trip to the Philippines on July 26

MANILA, Philippines – World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) star Big Show will stop by Manila for a day for a meet-and-greet with fans on Tuesday, July 26 to promote the company’s first show in the Philippines in 7 years.

Big Show, whose real name is Paul Wight, has been with WWE since 1999. He is a 7-time WWE World champion and the only man to have held titles in the WWE, Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), and World Wrestling Championship Wrestling (WCW).

The 7-foot tall, 450 pound giant had been laying low in recent months but was in the headlines once again last week after taking part in a staredown with retired NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal at the ESPY Awards.

Big Show then challenged Shaq to a match at WrestleMania 33 in Orlando, where O’Neal still resides.

The Big Show fan meet and greet will take place at the Mall of Asia Music Hall at 6:30 pm, according to event organizers.

WWE Live Manila takes place September 9 at the Mall of Asia Arena and will be the company’s only show in Southeast Asia in 2016. – Rappler.com
