Former UFC fighter Mark Munoz drops by Rappler to talk about his anti-bullying campaign, the importance of wrestling and his new ventures after retiring from fighting

MANILA, Philippines – Rather than wearing a pair of gloves, retired Filipino-American fighter Mark Muñoz is currently donning a suit and tie after accepting the role as the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s Philippine ambassador.

From August to October, Muñoz will be conducting mixed martial arts (MMA) clinics, empowerment workshops, and meet-and-greet sessions to promote the sport and the fight card dubbed “UFC Fight Night Manila 2,” which takes place at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on October 15.

The 38-year-old wrestler from Mission Viejo, California had an exclusive interview with Rappler on Friday, August 19 to talk about what is in store for the Philippines and discuss his plans to introduce his anti-bullying campaign in the country. – Rappler.com
