IN PHOTOS: 42nd PBA season opening ceremony

MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine Basketball Association ushered in its 42nd season with a simple opening ceremony right before the first game of the Philippine Cup on Sunday, November 20 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Commissioner Chito Narvasa’s welcome remarks was mostly directed at highlighting the league’s new direction toward digital – such as the launch of its PBA App – and thanking fans for their support.
