MANILA, Philippines – Kevin Love blazed a one-man trail through Portland on Wednesday, November 23 (Thursday Manila time), scoring 34 points in the first quarter of a Cleveland Cavaliers 137-125 win at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.
Love caught fire immediately, coming just 3 points shy of tying Klay Thompson’s record 37-point quarter from 2015, and finished with 40 points on 8-of-12 shooting from downtown in 31 minutes to go along with 8 rebounds to move the Cavs to 11-2 on the season while the Blazers dropped to 8-9.
LeBron James contributed a triple-double with 31 points, 10 rebounds and 13 assists and Kyrie Irvin scored 20 points and dished 6 assists
