The Philippine men's football team defeated Singapore 1-0 in Cebu City on Thursday, November 15, in their final leg of preparations for the AFF Suzuki Cup.
A Phil Younghusband cross to Patrick Recihelt turned into a pass to Marwin Angeles who stood waiting in front of the center of the goal. Angeles tapped it in and scored in the 54th minute, his first international goal.
It was the Philippines' second consecutive win against the Lions.
It was Cebu's first time to host an international friendly.
