PH women’s sepak takraw earns regu bronze in 2017 SEA Games

MANILA, Philippines – The women’s sepak takraw squad grabbed the bronze medal in the regu competition at the 2017 Southeast Asian Games on Monday, August 21

Thailand bagged the gold medal while Malaysia ended with the silver in the multi-sporting event on Monday, August 21 at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Kristel Carloman, Lhaina Mangsubat, Mary Ann Lopez, Rizzalyn Amolacion, and Jean Marie Sucalit compose the women’s team.

As of press time, Philippines has 3 golds, 4 silvers and 5 bronzes while host country Malaysia is still leading the overall standings.
