PH karatekas bag bronze medal in SEA Games 2017 women’s team kumite

MANILA, Philippines – The women’s karate team added another bronze to the Philippines in the 2017 Southeast Asian Games on Thursday, August 25 at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Mae Soriano, June Tsukii, Kimverly Madrona and Erica Celine Samonte contributed a medal in the current Philippines’ 6th place standing with a total of 56 medals as of 2:10 pm today.

Despite missing the two-gold projection in this year’s SEA Games, the entire Philippine’s karate team managed to earn 3 silvers and 4 bronzes. – Rappler.com
