Philippines takes home an additional two bronzes in the men's and women's 4x100m relay
MANILA, Philippines – Philippines continues to be a contender in the 29th Southeast Asian Games athletics as both men’s and women’s 4x100m relay representatives earned the bronze medal on Friday, August 25 at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The women’s team clocked in 44.81 seconds while silver medalist Thailand ended with 44.62 ticks.
Gold medalist Vietnam established a new SEA Games record and clinched the gold with 43.88 seconds.
Meanwhile, the Philippine men’s 4x100m relay team also landed in the 3rd spot with 39.11 seconds. Indonesia and Thailand bagged the silver and gold, respectively. – Rappler.com
