Harlem Shake: Air21 got moves, but Devance got more

MANILA, Philippines — Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you might have already seen videos of the newest dance craze to rock the internet world: the Harlem Shake.

As ever, PBA players were up to date and early in doing their own versions of this Harlem Shake fad:

Air 21, while they struggle in the hardcourt, definitely got their Express moves as they did their version of the dance craze, featuring a mummy, a jedi, and Simon Atkins wearing a bucket on his head.

In case they find themselves in the cellar again this conference, at least they will have something to do while waiting for the next season to begin.

San Mig Coffee Mixers’ Joe Devance however doesn’t want the Express to own the party with his just as painstakingly-produced version of the Harlem Shake:

JDV, if you recall, is not new to making it to Youtube videos after he showed everybody his slick moves dancing Psy’s Gangnam Style in a post game interview last year:

Back to the Harlem Shake wars, production-wise, I choose De Vance over Air21 but the Express had JDV when it came down to choreography, and yes, teamwork, but it will take a debate of epic proportions to judge the ultimate winner of the Air 21 vs. JDV match-up. Maybe we should wait for other teams to join the Harlem Shake battle. Is the dancefloor still open for a new challenger? Stay tuned.
