MANILA, Philippines – LaVar Ball is not all that pleased that his son Lonzo was involved in the Lakers’ blockbuster Anthony Davis trade.
“It will be the worst move the Lakers ever did in their life and they will never win another championship. Guarantee it,” said LaVar Ball in a Twitter video.

Although the elder Ball claimed that he doesn’t really care where Lonzo plays as long as his son is healthy, he still believes that the Lakers will go crashing down without him.
“This crowd was telling me that I was crashing down. Now, I didn’t completely crash but at least my son got off the boat before that thing exploded,” added Ball.
Lonzo, the 2017 No. 2 draft pick, is headed to the Pelicans along with Brandon Ingram and Josh Hart for six-time NBA All-Star Davis.
The Lakers also offered 3 first-round draft picks, including its No. 4 overall pick heading into next Thursday’s NBA draft.
LaVar originally wanted the Lakers to sign all 3 of his sons, but LaMelo and LiAngelo took an unorthodox route to the NBA by jumpstarting their professional careers in Lithuania last January 2018.
“I said that if you can get the 3 Ball brothers, you going to survive this. You let ’em go … oh, it’s going to be a cold day in hell. Trust me on that,” LaVar told reporters when the family watched LaMelo play at the Drew League.
Lonzo, the lone NBA player among the Ball brothers, averaged 9.9 points, 5.4 assists and 5.3 rebounds in the 2018-2019 season where he suffered an early exit due to a sprained ankle. – Rappler.com
